Shredded foam pillows are usually made from lumpy, leftover foam sold in large quantities to pillow manufacturers. You never know what you’re getting.
Extremely dense and with a feel that is dependent on the temperature in your room, molded foam pillows also usually have a stiff skin that inhibits breathability.
